So why do you need a wedding video anyway?
To me, there are many reasons why you need to have a wedding video. My feelings are based on not just my chosen profession, but as a woman who went through it all…the highs and lows of planning, the perfect day that went by so quickly and now wedded bliss with two kids.
About a year and a half ago, I took this picture of my daughter watching my wedding video on our home computer. I want to share this photo with you to show how much the
children enjoy watching their parents’ wedding video.
From the video, she has learned the names of so many relatives and friends and gets so excited seeing her cousin as a baby and everybody else being “silly” during the reception. She has watched it a thousand times. The coolest part is that she understands that we love each other and now she wants to get married like Mommy & Daddy.
I had often envisioned that the wedding video would be a wonderful heirloom or documentary of ones special day. But until I saw it with my own eyes, I never realized how special, important and wonderful it is to watch your child see how her mommy and daddy started their life as a family.
